Leading Up To The Retreat

As the retreat approaches, you’ll receive questionnaires, preparation details, and information packs to help you feel excited, organised, and ready for our time together.

An Instagram group chat will also be created so we can connect before the retreat, share updates, ask questions, and start getting to know the beautiful group of women we’ll be spending the week with 🤍

Welcome To Retreat Weekend

Your Golden Essence experience begins the moment you arrive in beautiful Bali.

Once you arrive at our luxury villa, you’ll have time to settle into your room, unpack, slow down, and soak in the space that will become home for the next few days.

That evening we’ll gather together for cocktails, dinner, open conversations, and connection as we ease into the retreat together.

The Weekend Experience

Over 4 days and 3 nights, we’ll create, learn, reconnect, and immerse ourselves in a beautiful blend of photography, creativity, mindset, business conversations, and intentional rest.

This retreat is designed to feel inspiring yet relaxed. Alongside our shoots and education, there’ll be space for slow mornings, poolside hangs, meaningful conversations, wellness experiences, beautiful food, and time to simply be present.

All meals, selected drinks, accommodation, and retreat experiences are included so you can fully switch off and immerse yourself in the experience.

Mel will also be there throughout the weekend helping hold space, guide conversations, support mindset work, and keep everything flowing smoothly behind the scenes.

A More Intentional Way To Learn

Golden Essence is designed to feel immersive, open, and creatively inspiring.

Throughout the retreat I’ll guide you through my approach to photography, creativity, workflow, business, client experience, confidence, and balance in a relaxed and real way.

Rather than rigid classroom style learning, this retreat allows space for honest conversations, open questions, mindset shifts, creativity, and learning that flows naturally throughout our time together.

The goal is for you to leave not only creatively inspired, but feeling clearer, more confident, more connected, and more aligned within both your business and life.

What To Expect

Rough Timeline:

Thursday
Arrivals, settling into the villa, welcome cocktails, connection, and our opening dinner together.

Friday
Pilates, creative education, villa shoots, open conversations, downtime, and a sunset beach shoot followed by dinner together.

Saturday
A sunrise Bali adventure, brunch, a luxury spa experience, free time to explore or relax, and dinner out together.

Sunday
A slow final morning with editing, open chats, brunch, and heartfelt goodbyes before departures.

Please note the schedule may evolve naturally throughout the retreat depending on weather, location access, timing, and the flow of the weekend.

Photography Shoots

Throughout the retreat we’ll create together through a series of live shoots and creative sessions across both our villa spaces and beautiful Bali locations.

I’ll guide you through my process in real time while allowing space for questions, observation, creativity, and learning within the natural flow of each session.

Shoot concepts, locations, styling, and session types may evolve throughout the retreat depending on weather conditions, model availability, and the overall retreat experience.

Travel Insurance & Health

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover travel disruptions, medical expenses, illness, cancellations, and unforeseen circumstances while travelling internationally.

For a smoother travel experience, it’s also recommended to arrive in Bali at least one day prior to the retreat commencement where possible.

Please ensure you check all current Bali entry requirements, passports, visas, and travel documentation prior to travelling.

Saying Goodbye

When the retreat comes to an end, my hope is that you leave feeling creatively refreshed, deeply inspired, connected, and more confident within yourself and your business.
